Client Blog: A special 18th birthday in Paris

It's always a pleasure to be trusted with booking a client's holiday, especially when it is for a special occasion or celebration. I loved planning and booking this special trip to Paris for Clare's daughter's 18th birthday.

I’ve just returned from the most incredible trip to Paris with my daughter to celebrate her 18th birthday, and I can honestly say it was flawless from start to finish - all thanks to the amazing Nikki Curran, our go-to independent travel consultant.

Nikki took care of absolutely everything, just as she always does. From our smooth and stress-free Eurostar journey to our stay in the most charming little boutique hotel, complete with a peaceful courtyard oasis, every detail was thoughtfully planned.

She really understood the kind of experience we wanted: something special, a little off the beaten path, and filled with authentic Parisian charm.

We explored the city with ease - the Metro made getting around effortless - and we chose to see a different side of Paris by avoiding the usual tourist traps.

We wandered through stunning parks, where we enjoyed laid-back picnics in the sunshine, soaking up the atmosphere and the beautiful spring weather.

One highlight was going to the very top of the Eiffel Tower on a perfectly clear day, sipping Champagne and taking in the breath-taking views. We also enjoyed a peaceful river cruise along the Seine, giving us a unique and serene view of the city’s famous landmarks.

Our days were filled with coffee in cosy cafés, shopping in some of Paris’ most iconic stores, and sampling the very best of French cuisine - think wine, cheese, patisserie cakes… pure heaven! We even made time for a few museums, adding a cultural touch to our adventure.

The return journey on the Eurostar took just two hours, giving us one last chance to relax and reflect on such a memorable escape.

Nikki made the entire experience seamless, stress-free and truly magical. I wouldn’t dream of booking our holidays with anyone else - her attention to detail, personal touch and passion for travel shines through in every trip she plans.
