Wow. Nikki does it again!
Absolutely incredible trip across Route 66 on a Harley, thanks to Nikki who had to deal with all the problems of the trip being delayed due to Covid.
Thankfully, despite us finally arriving two years after we had originally booked the trip, Nikki managed to negotiate the flights, hotels, bike hire, etc. all at the original prices!
One of the great things using an independent travel agent is they have the flexibility to book what we wanted and making sure we had all the correct documentation and visas to get in and out of the USA.
2,800 miles, three weeks, eight states and tree time zones are what make up this iconic journey. If you are into motorcycles, it's something you really don’t want to miss.
Eagle Rider, who ran the tour, were exceptional. We felt very safe and well cared for from the safety briefing before we started right through to the brilliant celebration party with a live band at Santa Monica.
We then enjoyed a few days at the iconic Hotel Shangri-La, exploring LA and Hollywood, before heading home.
Highlights: riding through the mid west, the Grand Canyon and Santa Fe.
Lowlights: Avoid St Louis and Laughlin, neither place I would want to return to.
