Nikki organised the most wonderful and unique holiday and the most beautiful of memories were made.

We began with a 3 night stay at a lovely 2 bedroom apartment, Casa Des Hermanos, in the heart of Athens. The host, Anton, whom we met when leaving was a fabulous host who went above and beyond with his hospitality. He bought us a gift and had the most delicious cream filled croissants sent to us. Upon leaving, he assisted with our luggage to the waiting taxi and went to great lengths to reunite my husband with his left jacket!

The apartment has the lovely and unexpected touches from fresh fruit, snacks, packets of water, beverages, wine and beer and has everything you could need.

For the next stage of our holiday, we went on a SeaCat from Piraeus Port to the beautiful Island of Poros - a 45-minute most pleasurable journey, taking in the beautiful scenery of sea, small, rugged islands and mountains. We had our own specific seats and it was so comfortable.

Poros itself was breathtaking - coming into the harbour and seeing the hillside dwellings and clock tower. There are lovely restaurants and shops the length of the harbour. There are the most beautiful beaches around the coast line - a favourite being Love Beach and the New Aqueli Hotel where the sunbeds were free upon spending €7 per person (with the latter).

We highly recommend the 1 hour sunset tour with John Nakis which is spectacular and we chose to have wine and a selection of cheeses which was the perfect touch.

Our accommodation at Cascade Holiday Resort was so lovely and peaceful and the staff helpful and friendly. The rooms are cleaned daily. The taxi ride is needed to go to Poros town which was easily organised through the driver involved with our trip. He went above and beyond to accommodate our trips to the town, Love Bay beach and the monastery which was such a surreal experience.

There are some wonderful restaurants from Kanali Beach Bar, Apagio in the town, and our favourite which was a 7-minute walk to Odyssey Bistro.

This was the most amazing and expertly organised trip from the busyness and hustle & bustle of Athens, where we went to the amazing Acropolis/ Parthenon, to the stark contrast of truly beautiful and relaxing Poros.

We cannot fault this trip. Well done Nikki and thank you!
